LokaalRaadio is setting up a radiophonic installation in ARS showroom gallery, as a continuation of Radiaator international radio art festival that Raul and Katrin Essenson founded in 2011 as part of the Tallinn Culture Capital of Europe program. Together LokaalRaadio (Keller, Essenson, Upan) are inviting people to participate in the installation space at the gallery and be part of the radio program, which is both streamed live to the festival home page and transmitted locally on 107.3 Mhz FM radio. The gallery space is prepared with record players and radios as well as an open microphone, creating a live studio environment which is constantly on air. LokaalRaadio is also making interventions into the space during the time of the festival so that a live experimental radio program is being generated.
