May 17th is the date of the festival with a peculiar name May Lily Days - founded and christened by late Sven Kuntu from Eriti Kurva Muusika Ansambel (Especially Sad Music Orchestra). The festival focuses on the fringe activities of some well and not so wellknown artists. The curators for the past several years have been Liina Keevallik and Katrin Essenson. This year's title is Midlife Crises and I'll be happy to participate within the ranks of Estonian Bad Dream Bigband (EDBB) and in a short film Swamm's Love or Oh Dear! as the male, somewhat decorative lead. The first of three concerts by LokaalRaadio with Hello Upan.
Symbolistica is an imaginary radio play by LokaalRaadio, which initially derives its name from spectral synthesis of images. It will bring some of the installation of the exhibition 'KLANG!' to the audience along with sound prerecorded on 8-track reel-to-reel tape and generated/improvised on site by no-input mixers, lo-fi analog synthesizers. guitar, violin, trombone, mechanic sinewave generator and text. Next concerts will take place in Tallinn, Estonia and Chemnitz, Germany at the end of the year. See more: soundexhchange.eu
